The City of Houston’s Summer Food Program for 18 year old and younger – Monday – Thursday 12 noon. -begins June 15, 2009

Bread & Pastry – Monday – Wednesday, 11:a.m.
Produce Thursday – Sign-in begins at 9:30 a.m.
Food Pantry – call 713-291-2202 for an appointment

The Citizenship Program and ESL Program will resume again in September.  Please look for additional information in The Leader Newspaper and Semana News.

Summer Food Program w/The City of Houston

The Summer Food Program partnership with the City of Houston will begin on June 15, 2009. 
City of Houston, FBC Heights and TMC (The Mainstream Connection) will again offer lunch and a snack along with a Children’s Program weekly beginning at  12 noon.   Anyone under the age of 18 years old may come and enjoy a nutritious lunch and a snack along with a Children’s Program which will include music, a story, crafts and playtime!

Awards Ceremony

Awards Ceremony

will be held

July 31, 2007 at 7:00 p.m.

Students of the Citizenship Class & the ESL Class (English as a Second Language) will be presented their Certificates of Completion and a reception at 201 East 9th St. @ Harvard.

We Congratulate them on completing these courses and invite everyone back for our courses in September 2007! Remember…. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE!

Houston Food Bank

& The Mainstream Connection

The Mainstream Connection is part of The Houston Food Bank and picks up
food for distribution on Thursdays.  If you or someone you know would like to

AWARDS CEREMONY FOR

CITIZENSHIP & ESL STUDENTS

An Awards Ceremony was held December 2006 for the
students who completed the Citizenship and ESL Programs.  This program began in September and ended in December 2006.

Council member, Adrian Garcia of District H was the Special Speaker for this Awards Ceremony.  He motivated those in attendance to continue their education and seek out any programs that will help them achieve their dreams.
